Uniform

We believe a uniform looks smart and helps children to feel that they belong to the school. It is also useful in identifying our pupils when we take them out of school for various activities.

Our uniform has been chosen both for its looks and its practicality. We are fortunate in that all parents support us in this policy.

Items of clothing and colours are:

Royal blue sweatshirts, cardigans, fleece jackets, peaked caps, woolly hats

Grey or black trousers, skirts, pinafore dresses, shorts

White shirts, blouses, T-shirts, polo shirts

Blue and white striped or checked summer dresses

Hairstyles should be conservative. Coloured/bleached hair, gel, close or patterned shaves, ‘adult’ styles and extreme styles are clearly not appropriate in a primary school. Nail polish and transfer ‘tattoos’ are also not appropriate.

Sweatshirts or track suits should be worn in cold weather

For School Playtimes

For colder weather, children may need hats, gloves, warm coats and water-proof footwear.

Pre-loved Uniform

As a school, we are dedicated to supporting our local community, especially as the cost of living continues to rise. Our preloved uniform rail continues to provide valuable support to many of our families.

All of the items on the rail are available for parents to browse and take away with them, there is no charge for any of the items. The rail will be located in the foyer at the school office and will be regularly restocked with donated items.

If you would like to donate any preloved uniform to the rail, you can do so at the school office. We would appreciate items that are too good to throw away such as jumpers, cardigans, trousers, skirts, pinafores, and coats. Please ensure any items being donated to the preloved rail have been washed before donating.
